Description
Apple Nachos are a fun and healthy snack that combines sliced apples with delicious toppings like peanut butter, chocolate chips, and nuts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large crisp apples (like Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
- 2 tablespoons crushed pretzels
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice apples into rounds or wedges, removing the core. Arrange slices on a large serving plate.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, warm the peanut butter and honey together for 20–30 seconds until easily pourable. Stir well.
- Drizzle the warm peanut butter-honey mixture over the apple slices evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips, chopped almonds, crushed pretzels, shredded coconut, chia seeds, and cinnamon over the top.
- Serve immediately for best texture, or chill for a few minutes for a cool, refreshing snack.
Notes
- For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
- Feel free to customize toppings based on preferences.
- Eat immediately for the best flavor and texture.
