Ingredients

- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Peel, pit, and dice the mangoes and avocados. Finely chop the red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
- Mix the Salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mangoes, avocados, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
- Add Lime Juice: Drizzle the lime juice over the salad.
- Season and Toss: Season with salt and pepper, then gently toss everything together.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a spicier salad, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
- This salad is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
