Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Peel, pit, and dice the mangoes and avocados. Finely chop the red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  2. Mix the Salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mangoes, avocados, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  3. Add Lime Juice: Drizzle the lime juice over the salad.
  4. Season and Toss: Season with salt and pepper, then gently toss everything together.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled.

  • For a spicier salad, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
