Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Bacon Egg and Cheese Crescent Rolls perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate. Once cool, crumble or chop it.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, a splash of milk (optional), salt, and pepper.
  4. In the same skillet (drain most of the bacon grease), scramble the eggs over medium heat until just set. Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled bacon and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
  5. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the egg mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Serve immediately.
