- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg

- 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, bacon, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf to create a flavorful glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
