- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs, room temperature

- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
- ¾ cup chopped walnuts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Mix in sour cream, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients separately, then mix into wet ingredients.
- Fold in bananas and walnuts.
- Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool completely.
- For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
Notes
- Make sure the bananas are very ripe for the best flavor.
- You can substitute walnuts with pecans or leave them out for a nut-free version.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting.
