Description

Banana Cream Pie Bars are a delicious no-bake treat featuring a creamy banana filling and a crunchy Nilla wafer crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups finely crushed Nilla Wafers (about 45 wafers)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 large bananas, sliced
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • Caramel ice cream topping, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix wafer crumbs with melted butter and press into a 9×13-inch pan. Chill.
  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1½ cups whipped topping. Spread over crust and top with banana slices.
  3. Mix pudding with milk until thickened, spread over bananas. Top with remaining whipped topping.
  4. Chill for 3 hours, garnish with caramel before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to slice the bananas just before adding to prevent browning.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
