Description

This Best Easy Creamy Dirty Martini Dip is a rich and flavorful appetizer that combines the classic tastes of a dirty martini into a creamy and delicious dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 0.75 cup pimento-stuffed olives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Grab a medium-sized mixing bowl. Make sure your cream cheese is nice and soft.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese and the sour cream to the bowl. Use a hand mixer or a sturdy whisk (or even a wooden spoon and some elbow grease!) to beat them together until they are smooth and creamy. You don’t want any lumps of cream cheese here.
  3. Next, add the crumbled blue cheese, the chopped pimento-stuffed olives, the olive juice, the onion powder, and the garlic powder to the bowl.
  4. Gently fold everything together with a spatula or spoon until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. You’ll see those bits of blue cheese and olives mixed throughout the creamy base.
  5. Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, ideally longer (an hour or two is great). This chilling time lets the flavors meld together beautifully and helps the dip firm up slightly.
  6. When you’re ready to serve, transfer the dip to your favorite serving dish. Garnish with a few extra olives if you like, and surround it with all sorts of dippers!

Notes

  • Soften the cream cheese well before mixing to avoid lumps.
  • Chop the olives finely for better distribution.
  • Chilling the dip allows flavors to deepen and blend – plan ahead if you can!
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • The olive juice might separate slightly; just stir before serving.
  • Can be made several hours or a day in advance.
  • Serve with crackers, crostini, pretzel thins, or fresh veggies.
