A delightful breakfast pizza topped with biscuits, sausage gravy, and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count, or 1 lb)
- 2 cups whole milk
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Nonstick spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuits and press them together evenly into the prepared baking sheet, forming a single crust. Pinch seams to seal.
- Bake the biscuit crust for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Do not drain all the grease—leave about 1 tablespoon.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened (5–7 minutes).
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper if using. Remove from heat.
- Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake again for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more crushed red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute sausage with turkey sausage for a lighter option.
