Description

A delicious and easy blackberry cobbler recipe perfect for dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (spoon and levelled)
  • ¾ cup sugar (plus more for sprinkling)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 ½ cups blackberries (you can add up to 4 cups if you like it really fruity!)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish (or similar size).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in the milk until just combined, then stir in the melted butter and vanilla.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the berries evenly on top, then sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Bake for 60-65 minutes until golden and bubbly. Allow the cobbler to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a fruitier cobbler, you can increase the blackberries to 4 cups.
