Description

A refreshing Brazilian Mounjaro drink that changes color, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 500 ml (2 cups) water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (approximately 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 500 ml of water in a saucepan. If using ginger, add it to the water at this stage.
  2. Remove from heat and add the butterfly pea flowers. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the flowers (optional) for a clearer drink.
  4. Add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey (if using) to the tea.
  5. Stir well and observe the color change from blue to purple.
  6. Serve immediately as a hot drink or pour over ice for a chilled version.
