A delicious and easy-to-make Bruschetta Cheese Ball that is perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12.35 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes (½ cup chopped, ½ cup for garnish)
  • ½ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped olives
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 fresh tomato, diced (for garnish)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Finely chop half of the sun-dried tomatoes. Set aside the remaining half for garnish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheeses, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, basil, olives, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add panko breadcrumbs and toast until golden brown, stirring frequently. Let cool.
  5. Remove the chilled cheese ball from the refrigerator, unwrap, and roll in the toasted breadcrumbs. Press gently to coat.
  6. Garnish with diced tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
