Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup cooked lobster meat (preferably from lobster tails)
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the lobster meat and cook for 3-4 minutes until opaque and curled. Add crab meat and stir gently until warmed. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add Parmesan cheese and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta into the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Fold in the lobster and crab gently. Let everything heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra crack of black pepper before serving.
Notes
- For spicier flavor, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning.
- Use fresh seafood for the best taste.
