Cajun Shrimp & Salmon with Garlic Cream is a delicious seafood dish featuring shrimp and salmon fillets coated with Cajun seasoning and served in a rich garlic cream sauce.

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, sprinkle shrimp and salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and flaking easily. Remove and set aside with the shrimp.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring constantly. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, gently mixing them in the garlic cream sauce. Let cook together for an additional 2 minutes to warm through and infuse flavors.
- Remove from heat and transfer the seafood to a serving platter, drizzling with more garlic cream sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning for more heat.
- Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the delicious sauce.
- Garnish with additional fresh parsley for color and flavor.
