Description
A spicy and fruity hot sauce that combines the sweetness of peaches with the heat of Scotch bonnet peppers, perfect for enhancing your favorite dishes.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1–2 Scotch bonnet or habanero peppers, stemmed (seeds removed for less heat)
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt to taste
- 2–4 tablespoons water (to adjust consistency)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine peaches, peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Blend until mostly smooth.
- Add lime juice, vinegar, brown sugar, allspice, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Blend again until fully smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool, then transfer to a bottle or jar. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Use as a hot sauce for chicken, seafood, or grilled vegetables.
