Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz aged cheddar, cubed
  • 4.2 oz brie, sliced
  • 4.2 oz gouda, sliced
  • 1 small bunch red grapes
  • 1 small bunch green grapes
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 2.1 oz dried apricots
  • 2.1 oz dried figs, halved
  • 1.8 oz mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • 4.2 oz assorted crackers
  • 2.8 oz breadsticks
  • 7 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2.1 oz powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese and unsalted butter until fully smooth and light in texture.
  2. Add powdered sugar, molasses, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until the dip is creamy and well combined.
  3. Transfer the gingerbread dip mixture into a small bowl and refrigerate until serving time.
  4. Display the cured meats, cheese cubes and slices, fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, crackers, and breadsticks on a large serving board or platter, arranging components attractively.
  5. Set the chilled gingerbread dip bowl in the center or at a corner of the board for guests’ easy access.
  6. Present immediately, allowing guests to combine the dip with fruits, crackers, or cheese as preferred.
