Description

Cheddar Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are delicious meatballs filled with cheddar cheese, wrapped in bacon, and coated in barbecue sauce, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 115 g cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 120 ml barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional, for enhanced caramelization)
  • Toothpicks, for securing bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with foil for easier cleanup.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the ground meat with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to ensure even seasoning.
  3. Portion the seasoned meat, flatten each piece, and insert a cube of cheddar cheese at the center. Enclose the cheese within the meat, forming a compact ball. Repeat until all meat and cheese are used.
  4. Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, securing it in place using a toothpick.

Notes

  • For additional caramelization and a glossy finish, brush the bombs with barbecue sauce during the last few minutes of baking.
