Delicious cheesecake-stuffed apples topped with a crunchy graham cracker mixture and drizzled with caramel sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji works best)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the tops off the apples and carefully scoop out the cores, leaving about 1/4 inch of flesh to create a sturdy base. Place apples in a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spoon the cheesecake filling into the hollowed apples, filling them almost to the top.
- In a small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter until combined. Sprinkle the mixture over the cheesecake filling in each apple.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender but not mushy.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the baked apples before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy the perfect blend of creamy, crunchy, and sweet!
Notes
- Honeycrisp or Fuji apples are recommended for the best flavor and texture.
- Adjust the amount of caramel sauce based on personal preference.
- These can be served as a dessert or a sweet snack.
