Description

Cheesy Pizza Bombs are a quick and tempting treat that combines the flavors of pizza into bite-sized dough balls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni, chopped)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or muffin tin to prevent sticking.
  2. Take each biscuit and flatten it into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. You can use your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each flattened biscuit. Top with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella and a few pieces of pepperoni.
  4. Carefully gather the edges of each dough circle and pinch them together to seal completely, forming a ball. Make sure there are no openings where cheese could leak out during baking.
  5. Place each pizza bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet or in muffin tin cups, leaving some space between them.
  6. Brush the tops of the dough balls with melted butter. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
