Description

Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta is a delicious and fun family dinner that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley or pickles (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic to the pan and sauté for 2–3 minutes, until fragrant and soft.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then stir in uncooked pasta.
  5. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed, stir in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley or sliced pickles for a cheeseburger-style twist. Serve hot!
