Description

Chicken Bang Bang Sliders are flavorful, spicy, and crispy chicken sliders served with a delicious Bang Bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 to 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, whisked
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Slider rolls
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Pickle slices
  • Additional desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts or tenders into pieces sized appropriately for the slider rolls. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
  2. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the whisked egg, then coat thoroughly in panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat a layer of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until deeply golden and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar. Whisk until smooth, adjusting sriracha to achieve preferred spice level.
  5. Layer a lettuce leaf and a pickle slice on each slider bun base. Place a hot fried chicken piece on top, drizzle generously with Bang Bang sauce, and finish with the top bun. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sriracha in the Bang Bang sauce to control spiciness.
  • Consider adding additional toppings like avocado or cheese for extra flavor.
  • These sliders can also be served with fries or a salad on the side.
