Description
Chicken Bang Bang Sliders are flavorful, spicy, and crispy chicken sliders served with a delicious Bang Bang sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 to 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, whisked
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Slider rolls
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Pickle slices
- Additional desired toppings
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts or tenders into pieces sized appropriately for the slider rolls. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
- Dredge each chicken piece in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the whisked egg, then coat thoroughly in panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat a layer of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until deeply golden and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar. Whisk until smooth, adjusting sriracha to achieve preferred spice level.
- Layer a lettuce leaf and a pickle slice on each slider bun base. Place a hot fried chicken piece on top, drizzle generously with Bang Bang sauce, and finish with the top bun. Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sriracha in the Bang Bang sauce to control spiciness.
- Consider adding additional toppings like avocado or cheese for extra flavor.
- These sliders can also be served with fries or a salad on the side.
