Description

A delicious Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich packed with flavor and perfect for lunch or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large croissants, halved
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the Caesar dressing. Stir well until the chicken is thoroughly coated.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shredded chicken and cook for about 3-5 minutes until heated through. Stir occasionally.
  3. Cut each croissant in half horizontally. Butter the inner side of each half lightly with unsalted butter.
  4. Place the buttery side down on the skillet and toast the croissants until they are golden brown, approximately 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. On the bottom half of each toasted croissant, layer evenly with chopped Romaine lettuce.
  6. Spoon the warm, seasoned chicken mixture over the lettuce.
  7. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
  8. Add cherry tomato halves for an extra burst of flavor.
  9. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper for taste.
  10. Place the top half of the croissant over the filling to complete the sandwich.
  11. Serve immediately for best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in a simple dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Substitute any leftover roasted or grilled chicken you might have.
  • Add avocado slices for a creamier texture.
  • Use whole wheat croissants for a healthier version.
  • Pair with a crisp white wine for an elegant lunch or dinner.
