- 6–8 hot dogs (beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based)
- 500–600 g crescent roll dough (1–2 cans)
- 720 ml canned or homemade chili (with or without beans)
- 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 30 g melted butter (optional, for brushing)
- 2 g garlic powder or 15 g chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C and lightly grease a 33×23 cm baking dish.
- Unroll crescent dough and wrap each triangle around a hot dog, placing seam-side down in the prepared dish.
- Pour chili evenly around the crescent-wrapped hot dogs, leaving the tops uncovered.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese uniformly over the chili and hot dogs.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden and fully cooked.
- If desired, brush roll tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder or chopped parsley.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Present warm directly from the pan.

- Feel free to use different types of hot dogs based on personal preference.
- Adjust the amount of chili depending on how saucy you like the dish.
