- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir in chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop cookie dough on a baking sheet.
- Add a dollop of cream cheese mixture on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- Make sure the butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easy mixing.
