Description

A rich and indulgent dessert that combines a chocolate cake base with a creamy, gooey filling for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 16 oz powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, egg, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder to the cream cheese mixture, and beat until well combined.
  5. Pour the filling over the cake layer in the pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly golden. The center should remain soft and gooey.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
