- 1/2 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese with melted dark chocolate until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes until firm enough to shape.
- Using a spoon, scoop portions of the firm mixture and roll into balls approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
- Roll each truffle in chopped almonds, pressing gently to coat evenly.
Notes
- For a different flavor, consider adding a pinch of sea salt or a splash of vanilla extract to the mixture.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
