Description

Deliciously rich and fudgy truffles made with creamy ricotta and dark chocolate, coated with crunchy almonds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese with melted dark chocolate until smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes until firm enough to shape.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop portions of the firm mixture and roll into balls approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
  4. Roll each truffle in chopped almonds, pressing gently to coat evenly.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, consider adding a pinch of sea salt or a splash of vanilla extract to the mixture.
