Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for coating.
  8. Scoop dough into 1 1/2-inch balls, then roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set and the cookies are slightly golden.
  11. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  12. Once cooled, dust cookies lightly with powdered sugar for a finishing touch.
