- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: chopped nuts, sea salt, or sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth, about 5–7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Add your choice of toppings, gently pressing them into the surface.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.
