- 1 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk in a large bowl until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
- Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the prepared pudding until fully combined yet fluffy and smooth.
- In a small bowl, toss the thinly sliced apples with ground cinnamon until evenly coated.
- Spread a thin layer of the pudding mixture at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to anchor the structure.
- Arrange graham crackers over the pudding mixture to cover the base completely.
- Spread an even layer of the pudding-whipped topping mixture over the graham crackers.
- Evenly distribute the cinnamon-coated apple slices over the pudding layer.
- Continue layering graham crackers, pudding mixture, and apple slices until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of pudding mixture on top.
- Generously drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer. Optionally sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts for added texture.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to blend and graham crackers to soften.
- Slice, serve, and optionally drizzle additional caramel sauce over each portion before enjoying.
