Description

A delightful no-bake dessert combining the flavors of caramel, apples, and vanilla pudding layered with graham crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 oz) package graham crackers
  • 3 large apples, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed or whipped cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk in a large bowl until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the prepared pudding until fully combined yet fluffy and smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, toss the thinly sliced apples with ground cinnamon until evenly coated.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the pudding mixture at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to anchor the structure.
  5. Arrange graham crackers over the pudding mixture to cover the base completely.
  6. Spread an even layer of the pudding-whipped topping mixture over the graham crackers.
  7. Evenly distribute the cinnamon-coated apple slices over the pudding layer.
  8. Continue layering graham crackers, pudding mixture, and apple slices until all ingredients are used, ending with a final layer of pudding mixture on top.
  9. Generously drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer. Optionally sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts for added texture.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to blend and graham crackers to soften.
  11. Slice, serve, and optionally drizzle additional caramel sauce over each portion before enjoying.

Notes

  • For a more robust flavor, consider using homemade caramel sauce.
  • Adjust the number of apples based on personal preference.
  • Serve chilled for the best texture.
