- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk (warm)
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (freshly shredded)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- Optional: sautéed onions, spinach, diced tomatoes, or jalapeños
Instructions
- Toss sliced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 4–6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then whisk in flour to create a roux.
- Slowly pour in warm milk while whisking until thickened.
- Stir in cheddar, Parmesan, and optional mustard. Season to taste.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave for 15–20 seconds.
- Add chicken and a generous spoonful of sauce to each tortilla.
- Add any optional toppings, fold, and roll into wraps.
- Toast each wrap in a dry skillet for 1–2 minutes per side.
- Serve hot with extra cheese sauce on the side.
