- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sear chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece, and let simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
- In a separate pan over low heat, melt butter. Add milk, mozzarella, Parmesan, and cooked pasta. Stir until creamy and cheesy.
- Serve the garlic parmesan chicken over a bed of cheesy twisted pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.
