Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are delicious and flavorful bites of salmon, perfectly breaded and fried, served with a spicy and tangy bang bang sauce.

- 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for the Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for the Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1 tbsp sriracha (for the Bang Bang Sauce, adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey (for the Bang Bang Sauce)
- 1 tbsp lime juice (for the Bang Bang Sauce)
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each salmon piece in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally roll in the panko mixture. Set aside.
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the crispy salmon bites and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a healthier option, air fry the salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer for best results.
- For extra texture, top with toasted sesame seeds or crushed peanuts before serving.
