Description

Crockpot Angel Chicken is a creamy comfort food dish made with tender chicken breasts cooked in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until well combined. If using, stir in the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
