A delicious and easy recipe for Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast that packs a flavor punch.
Ingredients

- 2 to 4 pounds chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 8 pepperoncini peppers
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice (optional)
- 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Place chuck roast in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle ranch and au jus mixes on top.
- Add pepperoncini and juice (optional).
- Place the butter on top of the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the meat and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use pork shoulder or chicken if you don’t eat beef.
- Skip the pepperoncini for a milder flavor.
- Add carrots or potatoes for a full meal.
