Description

A simple and delicious meal made with layers of ravioli, meat sauce, and cheese cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat, then add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
  2. Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Start by spreading a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by another layer of the meat sauce. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the last layer.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve hot.
