  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2025 pepperoni slices
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan and pre-bake for 10 minutes to prevent sogginess.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef and sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the pre-baked crust. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese, then the cooked meat mixture.
  4. Add another layer of sauce and cheese. Top with pepperoni slices and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Let the pie rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
