Description

Easter Dirt Cake is a delightful no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, a creamy filling, and topped with festive Easter candies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz cool whip
  • 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding (3.3 oz each)
  • 3 cups milk
  • Easter candy (Peeps, Robin eggs, sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Crush ⅔ package of Oreos into fine crumbs and spread them evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend together softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and cool whip until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk and instant vanilla pudding mixes. Gently fold this pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the creamy filling over the crushed Oreo base in the pan and sprinkle with remaining crushed Oreos on top.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least three hours to set before serving.
  6. Just before serving, decorate with your favorite Easter candies.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese and butter are softened for easier mixing.
  • For a richer flavor, consider using double-stuffed Oreos.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
