Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, for extra heat)
  • Chopped chives or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  3. Mix in the sour cream and milk, stirring until well combined.
  4. Add the shredded cheese gradually, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  6. If desired, add hot sauce for extra heat.
  7. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
  8. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions before serving.
