- As needed drops Blue food coloring – Gel preferred
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour – For dusting surface
- 8 Oreo cookies – Whole, for stuffing
- 6 Oreo cookies – Crushed
- ⅓ cup Mini chocolate chips – Optional but delicious
- 2 tablespoon Butter – Melted, for brushing
- 4 oz Cream cheese – Softened
- 3 tablespoon Butter – Softened
- 1 cup Powdered sugar – Adjust to taste
- As needed drops Blue food coloring – For desired color
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract – Optional
- 12 Candy eyes – 1 pair per roll
- 3 Oreo cookies – Crushed, for garnish
- 2 tablespoon White chocolate chips – Optional
Instructions
- Open cinnamon rolls and unroll each one carefully on a floured surface. Add a small amount of blue food coloring and knead until evenly blue (wear gloves!).
- Crush half the Oreos and sprinkle over blue dough. Add a few whole Oreos on top and press gently into dough.
- Roll up the dough loosely and place rolls into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Brush tops with melted butter and bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar, vanilla, and blue coloring. Adjust for sweetness and vibrancy.
- Spread blue frosting over warm rolls. Add candy eyes and sprinkle with crushed cookies and optional white chocolate chips.
- Best served warm. For extra magic, pair with a glass of cold milk!
