- 1 pound pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Let the pizza dough come to room temperature for 30 minutes if refrigerated.
- Lightly flour your surface and divide the dough into golf ball-sized portions.
- Roll each piece into a 6-8 inch rope and tie into a knot. Tuck the ends underneath.
- Place knots on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
- Cover with a towel and let rise again for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove butter from heat. Stir in chopped parsley and salt.
- Brush the hot garlic butter generously over baked knots.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan over the warm knots before serving.
- Serve warm with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce.
