- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (3 oz) packet cherry or strawberry-flavored Kool-Aid
- 1½ cups boiling water
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press evenly into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in the fridge while you make the filling.
- In a bowl, dissolve the Kool-Aid powder in boiling water. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Allow mixture to cool slightly, then pour into the chilled crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until firm.
- Beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe on top of the chilled pie.
- Garnish with fresh fruit, extra whipped cream, or a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers if desired!
Notes
- Make sure to allow the filling to cool before pouring it into the crust for best results.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
