Description
A quick and easy recipe for delicious pistachio fudge, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate chips (high-quality for best results)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups shelled pistachios (unsalted, roughly chopped)
- Green food coloring (optional, for a vibrant look)
- Pinch of salt (to enhance flavors)
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang on the sides.
- Melt the White Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add Flavor and Color: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. If you’d like a vibrant green color, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
- Incorporate Pistachios: Fold in 1 cup of the chopped pistachios into the fudge mixture, reserving the remaining ½ cup for topping.
- Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of chopped pistachios on top, gently pressing them into the fudge.
- Chill and Set: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours, or until it’s firm. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut it into small squares.
Notes
- For a nuttier flavor, lightly toast the pistachios before adding them.
- This fudge can be stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- Experiment with different colors of food coloring for a festive touch!
