Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Fried Cabbage with Turkey Bacon, Onion, and Garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 46 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving about 1 tablespoon of drippings in the skillet. If needed, add a little olive oil.
  2. Add the sliced onion to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes, or until soft and translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped cabbage to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and lightly browned.
  4. Stir the cooked turkey bacon back into the skillet and mix everything well.
  5. Serve hot as a delicious side or main dish.
