Description

A delicious and guilt-free treat made with frozen bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 to 5 tbsp dark chocolate, melted
  • ¼ tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped peanuts
  • sea salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas, then cut them in half lengthwise. Divide the halves into 2 parts each, yielding 8 banana slices. Place over a parchment paper-covered baking sheet.
  2. Spread peanut butter on top of each banana slice, making sure to cover it completely. Sprinkle the top with a pinch of salt and chopped peanuts.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips and coconut oil. Place in the microwave to melt in 30 second intervals until soft.
  4. Drizzle melted chocolate over peanut butter banana slices and freeze on the baking sheet for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate has hardened.
