Description
A delicious and guilt-free treat made with frozen bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 4 tbsp peanut butter
- 4 to 5 tbsp dark chocolate, melted
- ¼ tsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp chopped peanuts
- sea salt
Instructions
- Peel the bananas, then cut them in half lengthwise. Divide the halves into 2 parts each, yielding 8 banana slices. Place over a parchment paper-covered baking sheet.
- Spread peanut butter on top of each banana slice, making sure to cover it completely. Sprinkle the top with a pinch of salt and chopped peanuts.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips and coconut oil. Place in the microwave to melt in 30 second intervals until soft.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over peanut butter banana slices and freeze on the baking sheet for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate has hardened.
Notes
- Make sure the bananas are ripe for optimal sweetness.
- Feel free to add other toppings like shredded coconut or granola for extra flavor.
