Description
Frozen Greek Yogurt Peanut Butter Bites are a delicious and healthy snack that combines the creaminess of Greek yogurt with the rich flavor of peanut butter, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust for sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 cup crushed nuts (such as almonds or walnuts, optional)
- Silicone molds or mini muffin tin
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Use a spatula or whisk to mix until the ingredients are fully blended and smooth.
- If you are adding mini chocolate chips and/or crushed nuts, fold them into the yogurt mixture gently until evenly distributed.
- Prepare your silicone molds or mini muffin tin by lightly greasing them with a bit of non-stick spray or oil to ensure easy removal of the bites after freezing.
- Spoon the Greek yogurt and peanut butter mixture into the molds or muffin tin, filling each cavity to the top.
- Once filled, use the back of a spoon or your fingers to smooth the tops for a neat presentation. If desired, sprinkle additional chocolate chips or nuts on top for garnish.
- Place the molds or muffin tin in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the bites are completely solid.
- Once completely frozen, remove the bites from the molds or muffin tin. If using a muffin tin, you may need to gently run warm water on the outside of the tin for easier release.
- Store the frozen Greek yogurt peanut butter bites in an airtight container in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy them. They can be kept for up to 2 months.
Notes
- These bites make a great snack or dessert for kids and adults alike.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
- Store the bites in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
