Description

Delicious garlic butter lobster and scallops, perfect for a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large lobster tails, thawed if frozen
  • 1 lb sea scallops (patted dry)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep the Seafood: Butterfly lobster tails by cutting down the top of the shell and lifting the meat above. Pat scallops dry to get that restaurant-style sear—this step is key for a showstopping seafood feast.
  2. Sear the Scallops: In a hot skillet with olive oil, sear scallops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Set aside. This sear gives that five-star dinner finish and crave-worthy crust.
  3. Cook the Lobster: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Place lobster tails flesh-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes. Flip, add lemon juice, and baste with the garlic butter. This locks in rich buttery flavor and coastal dinner vibes.
  4. Toss It All Together: Return scallops to the pan and spoon hot garlic butter over everything. Add a pinch of paprika if desired for a smoky kick. Simmer 1–2 minutes for that perfect flavor infusion.
  5. Plate & Serve: Plate lobster in the center, scallops around it, and drizzle with extra garlic butter. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges for a next-level presentation that’s date night perfection.

Notes

  • Ensure scallops are patted dry to get the best sear.
  • Use fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • Garnish with extra parsley for added freshness.
