Description

Delicious and comforting Garlic Butter Pizza Pasta Bowls topped with cheese, pepperoni, and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (your choice – penne, rotini, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or any preferred toppings)
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Combine with Marinara: Stir in the marinara sauce, mixing well and allowing it to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat thoroughly in the sauce.
  5. Incorporate Toppings: Mix in the pepperoni and diced bell peppers. Allow everything to heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Cheese It Up: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pasta mixture and cover the skillet. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Season: Sprinkle dried oregano and optional red pepper flakes for an extra kick, mixing it into the dish.
  8. Plate the Dish: Remove from heat and serve the pasta in bowls.
  9. Garnish: Top with fresh basil or parsley before serving for a pop of color and added flavor.
