- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley (for the garlic butter sauce)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (for the garlic butter sauce)
Instructions
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter for the garlic butter sauce. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, until well combined.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, making sure there are no lumps. Cook the sauce until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the garlic butter sauce. Arrange a layer of lasagna noodles on top.
- Spread a layer of the garlic butter sauce over the noodles, followed by a layer of shrimp and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
