Description

A delicious dish featuring tender steaks coated in garlic butter, served alongside creamy Parmesan rigatoni.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 12 oz rigatoni
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
  3. Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  5. Add half of the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
  6. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  8. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your preference.
  9. Once done, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board.
  10. In the same skillet, add the remaining minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  11. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  12. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  13. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
  14. Slice the rested steaks against the grain into thin strips.
  15. Toss the cooked rigatoni in the creamy Parmesan sauce until well coated.
  16. Serve the sliced steak on top of the creamy Parmesan rigatoni.
  17. Drizzle the garlic butter over the steak and pasta.
