Description

A delicious recipe for Garlic Herb Steak Bites served with crispy roasted potatoes, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Roast the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they’re golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  3. While the potatoes are roasting, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust. Remove the steak bites and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining olive oil and butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic herb butter until well-coated. Remove from heat.
  7. Plate the roasted potatoes alongside the steak bites, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your preference.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak bites for a few hours before cooking.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
