Description
A simple and delightful recipe for flavored Ritz crackers baked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box Ritz crackers (about 2 sleeves)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the Butter Mixture – In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in garlic powder (or fresh garlic), parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix well.
- Coat the Crackers – Place the Ritz crackers in a large mixing bowl. Pour the butter mixture over them and gently toss to coat evenly. Be careful not to break them.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet – Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet to ensure even baking.
- Bake to Perfection – Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crackers turn lightly golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- Cool and Serve – Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm or store in an airtight container for later snacking.
Notes
- Adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
- For extra flavor, try adding other spices or herbs.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
